Vineyard W&S, We Hardly Knew Ye
Popped into the Vineyard Wine & Spirits closing sale on Saturday. Got there around 4pm and most of the reserve room had been picked dry. There were some stragglers remaining and I plucked out a Brunello and a Chablis to bring home. The $15 and under wines upstairs were holding up but were going fast. I imagine most everything is gone now.
It’s funny how things go when you put urgency on them. Were this a 20% off sale, I’m sure they woul dhave done well. But saying “Going Out Of Business” causes a bit more of a rush.
