More specifically, he is behind the creation of the Internet site founder.org, aiming at stimulating student entrepreneurship.<!--more--><br \/>\nThe 300 year-old Ch\u00e2teau, owned by the <strong>Laplanche family, <\/strong><strong>since 1936, had already been bought, in 2003, by <\/strong><strong>Maurice Girau<\/strong><strong>d<\/strong>, founder of the Savoyard high-end residences business, <strong>MGM Constructeur. Mr. Giraud is behind some colossal projects at Ch\u00e2teau de Pommard<\/strong>: enormous renovation projects, numerous investments in the vineyard and its tools, as well as an \u00ab art centre \u00bb, in 2004, created to host photo and craft exhibitions, as well as works of art by Dali and Miro. The Ch\u00e2teau has a beautiful French garden and a gastronomic restaurant.<br \/>\nIt is thanks to <strong>Maurice Girau<\/strong><strong>d, <\/strong>that the <strong>Ch\u00e2teau de Pommard <\/strong>is able to welcome more than 35 000 visitors each year. He has become the motor for oenotourism on the <strong>C\u00f4te-d\u2019Or<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIt was then <strong>Michael Baum\u2019s <\/strong>turn to be seduced and buy the magnificent estate, without changing either the values of the Ch\u00e2teau, or the staff, he confirmed.<br \/>\n<strong>The <\/strong><strong>Ch\u00e2teau de Pommard <\/strong>produces 80.000 bottles of <strong>Ch\u00e2teau Pommard<\/strong> and 20.000 bottles of <strong>Clos du Ch\u00e2teau<\/strong>, each year, all sold on the estate. The annual turnover is of 6 million euros.
