Very nice stay
Hello. Pleasant stay. Very comfortable accommodation and detailed tour of the production process at Philippe Martin. Very interesting. Their champagnes are very well structured, with the 3 grape varieties expressing themselves well, in mono or blend. As an oenologist, I was able to compare them with other winemakers. Their wines are of the highest quality. Very good bistronomic meal at Table de Kobus in Épernay. Recommended choice of wines and champagnes. And the next day, a visit to Mercier Champagne with its gigantic foudre.

Great experience
I'm usually reserved about this type of box, but here we were won over. We're expected everywhere (no paperwork), the teams are super attentive and the program was perfect, even with a 19-month-old baby. I'd definitely recommend it!

Stay philippe martin
Impeccable welcome, everything was perfect, from the meal at Max's to breakfast.

Very pleasant stay
Superb welcome and visit to Philippe Martin! A lot of attention to our hosts and a very nice tasting with many very professional comments. The meal at MAX was also of high quality. A slight downside following the change of cellar in Epernay, as Maison MERCIER really doesn't offer the same service and interest as that advertised at CASTELLANE. But a very good stay nonetheless.

Impeccable
Every stage was a success: welcoming, passionate people. You don't have to worry about a thing, you just have to be on time and you'll be happy :)

A relaxing and instructive stay
Despite a change of establishment, we had a very good stay, with an instructive visit to the Castellane champagne house, an excellent dinner at Max's and a nice hotel with a very warm welcome.

A great memory!
Well organized, with the kind complicity of Adeline MARTIN and Gwendoline. Very warm welcome and contact. Interesting tour of the winery and informative tasting session. Very comfortable suite and comprehensive breakfast.
Very good quality meal at Bistrot 7. And a visit to Chez De Castellane provided a very timely historical perspective.
A very pleasant two days, thanks to the attentiveness and availability of each of our hosts.

Highly recommended
What an instructive visit to Philippe Martin's home by a passionate woman...and we felt as if we were chatting with a friend...the restaurant at Max's and the accommodation extended these moments of pleasure...we can only recommend this stay.

Excellent Stay
Warm welcome, interesting tour of the estate with a very smiling and passionate person. Spacious, quiet and very pleasant room. Dinner at Le 7 restaurant very good, charming and very professional staff. Copious breakfast in the superb lounge. The visit to the Castellane estate was very instructive, with a very knowledgeable young man.
A stay to be recommended without hesitation.
Just great!

Wonderful stay
This stay was offered to us by our husbands for a weekend getaway with their girlfriends. The best idea of 2022!!! A moment out of time, sun, champagne, walks, visits, everything was perfect. The Philippe Martin estate is superb, as is the room, and the welcome is on a par with the elegance of this residence. Very good breakfast, really nothing to say, a guest house worthy of the name with a superb terrace. The meal at Bistro 7 was good, a lot of noise in the restaurant but it was very correct and the waiter very nice. The visit to De Castellane was also very good. A little bonus before our arrival was a visit to the Avenue de Champagne and the Moet et Chandon cellars, just 5 minutes from the guesthouse. A perfect weekend, very well managed and organized by VinoTrip. To be repeated!

Have a nice weekend
Very warm welcome at Philippe Martin's, very pleasant visit of the cellar with a charming young lady. The perfect suite and copious breakfast. Good meal at the 7 bistro, despite the kitsch decor. We learned a lot thanks to our guides.

Beautiful weekend
A charming young master's student showed us around Maison Martin. The visit was punctuated by an excellent tasting session, from which we took home a few souvenirs. The meal at Bistrot le 7 was perfect and the visit to the Pommery cellars surprising. We thoroughly enjoyed all these moments, which are always too short.

Staying with Philippe Martin
At Domaine Philippe Martin, we were warmly greeted by a charming young lady studying. The cellar tour was very informative and the tasting perfect!
We recommend this type of stay for 2 people, in a suite in the heart of the estate, to be experienced!

Top-notch discovery weekend
It all started in Cumieres. The 4pm rendezvous was perfect for those of us with a long drive ahead of us. The welcome at Domaine Philippe Martin was very warm. The small suite we had was perfect for an overnight stay. The tour was comprehensive, rich in information, and very enjoyable with the dynamic person who introduced us. The tasting of different champagnes really brought home the nuances explained earlier. The setting was very pretty, clean, friendly and calm.
The meal in the restaurant was good, the quantity sufficient and the dishes varied (meat, fish, even octopus!) in a tranquil setting.
On the way back, we enjoyed the champagne bar and the garden by night.
Breakfast was copious, with service always warm and friendly. We were also able to buy champagne on site.
The tour of Castellane was very good, but it's a good thing we'd been told more about how it's made the day before, because it wasn't as precise. On the other hand, the visit to the underground cellar was impressive. The tasting of the "petite coupe" was very much appreciated, and enabled us to compare our experience with the previous day's estate (industrial vs. local quantities).
Finishing around 12.30 pm gave us time to explore the surrounding area before heading home.
Many thanks to the estate staff for their warm welcome and kindness. This discovery weekend was very interesting and we'll keep good memories of it! We look forward to returning!

Champagne break
We met up at the Philippe MARTIN house in Cumières at 4pm, where we were very warmly welcomed, but were unable to visit the cellars, which were busy for 3 days with decanting and bottling.
Otherwise the room, or rather the suite, was very comfortable. It was a very restful night, as there are only 3 rooms in this beautiful guest house run by the 7th generation.
In the evening, it was difficult to find the restaurant in Epernay "le bistrot 7", as the hotel restaurant is actually called "Les Berceaux". We turned around 2/3 times before finally being able to sit down and enjoy a very good meal where we could choose between 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. We had to pay for our own drinks, which were practically the price of a menu (they make up for that).
The next morning, we had a hearty breakfast and got to know the friendly owners.
We promised ourselves we'd be back to visit
+ nice places and maybe visit the vineyards in a 2CV, to be booked at least 3 days in advance.
Then it was off to visit the Castellane cellars, which were really interesting, but in 1 hour we couldn't get up to the tower because it closes at noon. Tasting of a glass of champagne.
Overall, we were very satisfied with these 2 half-days, which were offered to us by friends.
A stay to be recommended.

An unforgettable Champagne weekend!
Superb Champagne weekend!
TB welcomed us to Desruets in Hautvillers, where we were given a very detailed tour of this Champagne craftsman's facility and, above all, the comments given by the lady of the house. Tasting his champagne afterwards turned out to be a wonderful discovery, especially the champagne with no added sugar. Excellent! Then on to Ay, at Clos St Georges. A superb guest house, a magnificent setting, impeccable rooms, excellent, made-to-measure tradi cuisine using fresh produce, and a hearty breakfast the next morning. Nothing to complain about, really. Nothing but compliments. An excellent address, with the added bonus of the friendliness and warm welcome of the owners, who are also the chef.
Don't miss: the great walking tour through the streets of the village and around the Deutz, Bollinger and Ayala vineyards... landscapes, vineyards as far as the eye can see, serenity and fresh air. A total change of scenery guaranteed...
Sunday morning at De Castellane in Eperney. Quite a facility! Large museum-like rooms, lots of old tools + paintings on the walls explaining the work of the winegrowers. And then the tower... 237 spiral steps... Hot! But once at the top, a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.
We then descend to the wine-processing rooms (the stainless steel and wooden barrel room), followed by a visit to the cellars (10 - 12 degrees ambient temperature). 6 km of cellars that connect with those of Mercier. It was they who dug the chalk and then gave up part of their cellars. De Castellane belongs to Laurent Perrier. In the cellars, 5 million bottles... A charming guide accompanies you all the way: everything is explained in great detail, plus a demonstration of what goes on in the cellars. Some parts of the cellars have been converted into a museum, with old tools, wax figures and more. Great stuff! The tour ends with a visit to the room where corks, labels and boxes are applied. The tour lasts 50 minutes, but it's so interesting that you don't even notice it's gone. You learn so much. The tour ends with a return to the reception area, followed by a glass of champagne.
It's truly an exceptional trip.

Weekend in Champagne
We had an excellent weekend and are delighted with your choices. Many thanks to Clémence who welcomed us at Domaine Desruets. We recommend VIEUX PUITS without hesitation.
The visit to the Castellane estate was equally enjoyable.

BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND IN CHAMPAGNE
We had an excellent weekend in Champagne
A warm and professional welcome at Domaine Philippe Martin. Well thought-out, comfortable accommodation, an interesting tour of the cellars and a fine tasting session.
The dinner at Table Kobus was perfect.
The visit to the Mercier cellars was impressive, mainly because of the size of the company. The wine tasting was a little quick, due to the number of visitors.
A wonderful stay to recommend
