VERY NICE WEEKEND
This weekend was offered to us and we had a great time.
First of all, on Saturday at the Cave de St Mont, we were welcomed by a winemaker who gave us a tour of the cellar and winery with lots of very interesting information, then we visited a vineyard plot, again with the producer. Then a meal at the Monastère for a tasting of a meal concocted by a chef accompanied by the wines chosen by our winemaker guide.
Overnight stay in a downtown Pau hotel with private parking and a warm welcome.
Sunday: appointment at Domaine BURGUE-SERE in SAINT FAUST.
We are welcomed by the owner with a magnificent tour of the winery and tasting of the family production.
The last appointment was at Domaine LATAPY, where we were greeted by the owner, who was very friendly despite our late arrival (access was difficult and the explanations given were not very precise).
This would be the only negative remark on this stay, as well as the difficulty in finding a restaurant following this visit (on a Sunday around 1.30 pm).
Nevertheless, we are very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it.

a moment of pleasure
Congratulations on a weekend of pleasure. Flawless organization meant that we were expected at every rendezvous. Passionate people shared their daily lives with us in a very pleasant way, thanks to the fact that we were only two couples. The tasting experience at Saint-Mont deserves to be called more than just "tapas", as the food served to us at the Abbaye de Saint-Mont was more akin to a gastronomic experience.
The hotel was perfectly adequate and well located in the heart of Pau.
The two Jurançon producers we met on Sunday were particularly cordial and knew how to pass on their passion.
Tired of receiving gift boxes from children, this one particularly appealed to us and made us want to buy again!

Beautiful weekend
Very nice weekend and very satisfied with a Saturday in Saint-Mont with wine tasting supported by more than tapas. Very good welcome from Céline with clear explanations. 2nd morning of sharing the passion of the CINQUAU and LATAPY estates.
Just for Saint-Mont, visit in English - no major problem, but perhaps check with participants beforehand.

Magnificent discovery
We had a fabulous time over the 2 days, learning an enormous amount about the work of winegrowers and oenology in the company of people as extraordinary as they are passionate about their profession.
Special mention to Justine from the Domaine de St Mont: her introduction to wine tasting based on pairing (with food) particularly won us over! We can't wait to come back and have recommended this wonderful stay to all our friends and family.

An unforgettable moment
Extraordinary time spent in the presence of Justine Lesage, our private guide for the occasion (there were only 2 of us), who gave us a marvellously professional introduction to a vineyard and its wines. Many thanks again to her!

Stay south west
We had a very good stay, very well organized where we were able to discover different wines in the company of passionate and very pleasant people, for novices like us, we really advise you to make the same stay which will allow you to discover a very beautiful region with quality people.

A great discovery
As newcomers to vineyard discovery, this first experience was very rewarding and enjoyable.
We were guided and advised by passionate and attentive people on the 3 estates we visited.
A very good meal in the cellar of the Saint Mont monastery.
In short, a very well organized weekend combining discoveries, tastings and self-guided tours.
We recommend

Wine and tapas weekend
Very nice weekend. On Saturday, the visit to the cooperative is very good. The tapas accompaniment is done in a restaurant, the meal is very copious and really very good. The hotel in the center of town was OK, but we expected better (no parking in the hotel, even though there's a large municipal parking lot nearby and it's not very expensive; breakfast was OK, but nothing more).
The next day, the visit was quick for us as it rained, but the winemaker was very interesting. The wines are of very good quality.
