Madrian wine tasting at Château Monthus and Bouscassé

Discover the exceptional wine heritage of Châteaux Montus during an immersive visit where the secrets of winemaking in the historic cellar, nicknamed the Cathedral of Tannat, will be shared with you. This cellar was created by the owner Alain Brumont over 30 years ago.
You will be introduced to the concept of terroir that characterizes each cuvée, before heading to Château Bouscassé, just a few minutes from Château Montus, exploring the unique features of the vineyards and the characteristics of the grape varieties of the appellation along the way.

Next, explore the origins of the wines from Alain Brumont's vineyard at Château Bouscassé, a family estate since 1861. You will visit the barrel cellar designed by renowned architect Edmond Lay and enjoy a tasting in the Bouscassé cellar, where several cuvées will be explained and narrated by your guide.
The morning concludes with a refined lunch at the Table de Bouscassé: a meal pairing food and wine, highlighting local products.

Domaine à Lafitte opens its doors for an immersive journey into the world of Armagnac. Since 1945, this estate has been crafting its eaux-de-vie from Baco and Ugni Blanc grape varieties. Your experience includes a tasting, an introduction to its collection of vintages, a comparison of aromas, and a tour of the ageing cellars — the perfect way to appreciate the full richness of this Gascon spirit.
