  • The history of the estate

    Domaine du Dragon, located in Draguignan in Provence, is a place steeped in history, set in the heart of a preserved natural environment.

    Its name refers to the legend of the Dragon of Draguignan, according to which a dragon once lived on Saint-Michel hill before being defeated by Saint Hermentaire, thus freeing the region.

    The estate also boasts significant historical heritage, including the remains of an ancient castle and a chapel dating back to the 13th century

    The Domaine du Dragon vineyard extends over several hectares of vines cultivated using organic farming methods. It benefits from a typically Provençal terroir and a Mediterranean climate that is ideal for viticulture.

    The estate produces wines under the Côtes-de-Provence appellation, rosé, red, and white, made from emblematic regional grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Rolle.
