Day 1 - A romantic break in the Côte Rôtie region
- Upon your arrival in the Côte Rôtie region, you will have an appointment at the Caveau du Château in Ampuis for a guided wine tasting featuring the most renowned appellations of the Rhône Valley, through the five estates owned by the Guigal family.
- In the afternoon, head south to Condrieu for a tasting at the Domaine Boissonnet.
- At the end of the afternoon, head further south along the Rhône and leave your luggage at the four-star Domaine de Clairefontaine, a charming and characterful hotel nestled against a backdrop of three verdant hectares.
- A gourmet dinner is served at the Domaine de Clairefontaine restaurant, which has held its Michelin star since 1993 under the auspices of the head chef, Philippe Girardon – Four-course menu, excluding drinks.
- Option: Gourmet four-course dinner pairing selected dishes and wines selected by Dominique Viala, sommelier at the restaurant since 1992.
- Overnight in the four-star Domaine de Clairefontaine.

Day 2 - On the wine trail
- Breakfast in the four-star Domaine de Clairefontaine.
- In the morning, enjoy the freedom to visit Vienne, with its rich Gallo-Roman heritage. The city is listed as one of Europe’s finest archaeological sites.
- For lunch, head for Le Bistrot de JB, a traditional restaurant in the shadow of the cathedral to discover the region’s culinary specialities (drinks not included)

Superb weekend
A very pleasant stay. Very nice meeting with Mr Boissonnet, a passionate winegrower with whom we spent most of the afternoon. The overnight stay and dinner at Domaine de Clairefontaine were magical. A beautiful place, warmly welcomed by all the staff. Excellent dinner, of course, with a Michelin star... Thank you for a wonderful time. We would have liked to have stayed an extra night... A good idea to consider as an option...

A stay on the côte rôtie
Great stay, we enjoyed our whole weekend and will be going back with Vinotrip very soon.
The meal at Domaine de Clairefontaine was sumptuous, thanks in particular to the sommelier who kept the dinner moving. On the first day, the wineries we visited were very attentive and answered all our questions. On the second day, we went for a hike in the vineyards, which was both sporty and scenic. The restaurant at lunchtime was also very enjoyable. We have nothing to complain about.

An excellent stay!
We would like to thank our children for giving us this opportunity. We tasted at the GUIGUAL estate, where we were delighted by the location, the welcome, the tastings and the museum.... Then we had the pleasure of meeting Monsieur BOISSONNET, who shared his love of the vine with us. He didn't hesitate to introduce us to 7 different wines and show us around his estate. Thanks to him for his welcome, his attentiveness, his kindness and for having given us a very rewarding vinotrip.

Very nice discovery
We were delighted with our stay: both tastings were carried out with the utmost professionalism by people who are passionate about their work, and who were able to pass on their values to us. The stay at the Clairefontaine estate exceeded our expectations: an exquisite dinner and a particularly pleasant setting. The 2nd day's program had to be modified following the cancellation of the restaurant in Vienne, but we didn't lose out by having lunch on the banks of the Rhône in Condrieu. An excellent souvenir.

Our stay on March 17 and 18, 2018 was super. the Niero and Boissonnet estates are very different but nice to see, very nice tastings in the 2 estates. As for the service at Domaine Clairefontaine, it was just magnificent, hotel, chef's meal and service too!
