Tours and tastings at Domaine Boissonnet

A family-run estate for three generations, Domaine Boissonnet covers 12 hectares of vines and produces wines from the Saint-Joseph and Condrieu appellations, as well as IGP wines.

Frédéric Boissonnet and his son Guillaume place great importance on careful vineyard management, working with respect for the estate’s exceptional soils, grape varieties and northern Rhône terroir. As Frédéric likes to say: “Without good grapes, you cannot make good wine.”

The Boissonnet family warmly welcomes visitors to the estate to discover their wines, vineyards and working methods. The estate has also developed original wine tourism experiences. Since late 2018, Frédéric and Guillaume have offered a special morning dedicated to truffles and wine, in partnership with truffle grower Didier Roche, who owns 3 hectares of truffle oaks on the heights above the village of Serrières.

  • Superb weekend

    A very pleasant stay. Very nice meeting with Mr Boissonnet, a passionate winegrower with whom we spent most of the afternoon. The overnight stay and dinner at Domaine de Clairefontaine were magical. A beautiful place, warmly welcomed by all the staff. Excellent dinner, of course, with a Michelin star... Thank you for a wonderful time. We would have liked to have stayed an extra night... A good idea to consider as an option...

  • An excellent stay!

    We would like to thank our children for giving us this opportunity. We tasted at the GUIGUAL estate, where we were delighted by the location, the welcome, the tastings and the museum.... Then we had the pleasure of meeting Monsieur BOISSONNET, who shared his love of the vine with us. He didn't hesitate to introduce us to 7 different wines and show us around his estate. Thanks to him for his welcome, his attentiveness, his kindness and for having given us a very rewarding vinotrip. Thanks to all For the Clairefontaine estate, I agree with one of your customers for the 3* rather than the 4*. but it was still an excellent stay

  • Top-notch and worth doing again!

    Day offered by my wife for a discovery day for 2 people. I went with a wine and truffle-loving friend. What a day! 1h30 visit to the truffle oaks with explanations from the truffle grower. Demonstration of cavage with the dog in perfect sunshine for January. Back to the village to visit Domaine Boissonnet Visit to the vaulted cellars and explanations from the winemaker. Tasting of the full range of wines, accompanied by truffle butter for the aperitif. Meal : Egg scramble with truffles (a real treat) Truffle risotto with sliced poultry (unlimited truffles at no extra charge) Brie with truffles (simply succulent) Mignardise dessert around the dijo All in all, highly recommended and definitely worth repeating! possibility of buying wine and truffles directly on site

  • stay in côte rotie

    Our stay on March 17 and 18, 2018 was super. the Niero and Boissonnet estates are very different but nice to see, very nice tastings in the 2 estates. As for the service at Domaine Clairefontaine, it was just magnificent, hotel, chef's meal and service too!
