Châteaux and wine estates
-
Maison Régnard
Maison Régnard is one of the oldest and most prestigious wine houses in Burgundy. The estate is one of the last to have its cellars and its winery in the historic center of the famous village of Chablis...
-
Domaine Gueguen
It was in 2013 that Frédéric Gueguen and his wife Céline Brocard created the Domaine Gueguen. The estate is divided into 35 different plots and covers 36 hectares, distributed between the Chablisien vineyard (from Petit Chablis to Chablis Grand Cru) and the Auxerrois with a multitude of grape varieties (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Aligoté, Sacy, Pinot Noir, César)...

Very good
Very good stay, well organized and met some great people.
Only one small drawback, the itinerary: it says on the itinerary that dinner was à la carte, but we were served a set dinner that would not necessarily have been our choice.
As for the rest, all good

A superb romantic break!
We were delighted with our stay: we let ourselves be guided by a well-organized program. Our favorites were the gourmet restaurant Au fil du Zinc, and the Maison Gueguen: a superbly friendly and enthusiastic guide, delicious wines and musical entertainment to round off the experience.
Great exchange with the group, a must-do!
Recommended.

TO BE REDONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
We began with a memorable lunch at Le Fil du Zinc .... Absolutely fabulous. The hotel was fine apart from a slight lack of cleanliness in the room and a slightly disappointing dinner (a sublime starter but a dish that didn't measure up). A choice of menu would perhaps have been more judicious.
As for the visits, the Régnard estate made us very welcome.
And the vineyard tour and tasting with Domaine Gueguen was great.
All we had to do was let ourselves be guided.

A must!
We were waiting to see what was on offer for this gastronomic-oenological lovers' weekend... and we weren't disappointed! The Fil du Zinc restaurant treated us to a generous gourmet menu that we won't soon forget. L'Hostellerie des Clos is a really lovely place, full of charm and close to all the weekend events. The estate visits were very interesting, each in a different style. A cellar for Regnard and the vineyards for Guegen... If I have to say one thing, it's that the evening menu at the Hostellerie wasn't particularly good... (To be put into perspective, we had just had a gastronomic lunch) In short, a wonderful gift from our children and friends!

Chablis weekend
What a weekend! Very pleasant village, an absolutely fantastic restaurant "au fil du zinc". Hostellerie du clos pleasant. Visit to Regnard, very very interesting, and wonderful wines. Very pleasant walk in the vineyards at Gueguen. Great weekend, great organization. You just have to let yourself be guided...

EXTRAORDINARY
This is a magical getaway, and all the places on offer are exceptional. A special mention for the hotel and the Fil du Zinc Sunday lunch.
Don't hesitate to take a break!

BEAUTIFUL END-OF-SUMMER GETAWAY
Vinotrip's efficient organization and smooth flow of activities once on site. Gastronomic meal at Le Fil du Zinc: a real favorite, with fine dishes and perfect service. The two estate visits were fascinating and above all complementary (cellar visit at Regnard, vineyard visit at Gueguen).
On the other hand, the accommodation and evening meal at Hostellerie des Clos were not up to the standard of the rest of the stay: a small, anonymous room, and a disappointing meal (and service): the Vinotrip roadmap indicated "à la carte choice" but in reality the menu was imposed, with no originality and no real flavor. It's a shame, after our experience at Fil du Zinc and then Domaine Régnard, this contrast wasn't very pleasant.
In spite of this, we really enjoyed our short stay and would like to spend a little more time in the region.
