A Family Estate

It was in 2013 that Frédéric Gueguen and his wife Céline Brocard created the Céline & Frédéric Gueguen Estate.

With a deep attachment to their family roots, they built a new estate and, in turn, wrote a new chapter in the history of wine.

Located in both the Chablisien and Auxerrois vineyards, the estate is divided into 35 different plots and covers 36 hectares, on a Kimmeridgian subsoil formed in the Jurassic era, covering the most qualitative sectors of the region.

  • Discovering Châblis

My wife and I are delighted with our stay. It all started with a delicious meal at Le Fil du Zinc, and then we checked in at the Hostellerie du Clos, which was very pleasant even though the rooms could use a bit of a refresh. The tour of the Regnard estate was very informative, enjoyable, and almost personalized (we were the only ones there). The wines we tasted were very good; we bought a bottle of 1er cru, though the price was quite high. We then treated ourselves to the massages and sauna offered by the hotel. Dinner was decent; it’s just a shame we couldn’t eat it on the outdoor terrace. The next day’s tour of the Guéguen estate—which included a walk through the Grand Cru vineyards accompanied by a very cheerful guide—was also a highlight, and we tasted some fairly young wines. We’ll have wonderful memories of this weekend in Chablis.

  • A superb romantic break!

We were delighted with our stay: we let ourselves be guided by a well-organized program. Our favorites were the gourmet restaurant Au fil du Zinc, and the Maison Gueguen: a superbly friendly and enthusiastic guide, delicious wines and musical entertainment to round off the experience. Great exchange with the group, a must-do! Recommended.

  • Chablis weekend

What a weekend! Very pleasant village, an absolutely fantastic restaurant "au fil du zinc". Hostellerie du clos pleasant. Visit to Regnard, very very interesting, and wonderful wines. Very pleasant walk in the vineyards at Gueguen. Great weekend, great organization. You just have to let yourself be guided...

  • Domaine Gueguen, Wine Artisans

At Domaine Gueguen, the owners define themselves as "artisan" winemakers. They craft true, unadulterated wines, with a vintage effect that reflects everything that happened in the vineyards and the manifestations of Mother Nature and the climate!
All wines from Domaine Gueguen are characterized by their freshness and sincerity. The estate's wines are distributed between the Chablisien vineyard (from Petit Chablis to Chablis Grand Cru) and the Auxerrois with a multitude of grape varieties (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Aligoté, Sacy, Pinot Noir, César) and terroirs.

  • Stroll in the Heart of Chablis Grand Cru

Embark on a discovery of the Chablis vineyards with a 45-minute stroll to understand the winemaker's work and the secrets of winemaking in the heart of Chablis Grand Cru. Upon your return, you are welcomed to the cellar where you can taste the wines of Chablis and Burgundy.
