First of all, it’s a pleasure to be guided without having to worry about a thing—the timing is perfect, not rushed, and there’s never a dull moment. The experiences vary from one winemaker to another, including the two restaurants and the unique overnight stay in a wine barrel—all wonderful discoveries. We were made to feel very welcome; Vinotrip seems to put a smile on the faces of the professionals who host us (unlike Smartbox...). So, a wonderful time—a beautiful region to explore with delicious wines, a well-oiled operation, happy professionals—nothing to complain about! Well done, Vinotrip!

A beautiful region
At the end of this trip, Domaine Joseph Lafarge won our hearts and became our favorite thanks to their warm welcome, their professionalism, winemaker Mr. Lafarge’s boundless passion for his vineyards, and the uniqueness of the accommodations. The tastings at the Virée winery and Domaine Ferrand were also very enjoyable thanks to the expertise of the ladies who welcomed us. Lunch at the Relais des Grottes was excellent, featuring delicious regional specialties. On the other hand, the meal at Bistrot St Pierre was very, very disappointing: chicken skewers or burgers—we had expected more local dishes. Fortunately, there was a beautiful view of the Mâconnais region, and the waitress was very kind. The visit to Cluny was a wonderful discovery.

An unforgettable experience in Burgundy
We discovered two wineries, each with its own unique identity, and then a wine house that offered a broader perspective on the region. We had a wonderful time at Joseph Lafarge’s winery. The welcome was particularly warm, and the explanations about the vineyards, winemaking, and the wines were fascinating, easy to understand, and very enlightening. You can really feel their passion for their craft and their desire to share it. The unique accommodations add an original touch that makes the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this visit. We also really enjoyed both meals—at the Relais des Grottes and the Bistrot Saint-Pierre—which were excellent. And to top it all off, the visit to Cluny Abbey was the perfect way to end this wonderful weekend.

Stay in Burgundy
We had a wonderful trip, complete with a delightful Burgundy wine tasting and a very warm welcome from the winemakers. We really enjoyed discovering Domaine Lafarge and the St Pierre restaurant (highly recommended). Thank you to Vinotrip for organizing this trip.

A weekday weekend
Great discovery of the Vinotrip offer. Very well commented tastings, very quiet night in the barrel, top restaurants (special mention to St Pierre) and, icing on the cake, part of the stay with the friendly Vinotrip team, which demonstrates their presence in the field and their proximity to suppliers. All in all, Cluny Abbey looks (almost) modest after this wonderful experience.

Romantic weekend
We had a great weekend! Everything is very well organized, each place awaits us and is well informed of our visit. We met many wonderful people. The two restaurants are delicious and the barrels very comfortable. As a bonus, the scenery is magnificent!

Beautiful discovery of Maconais
Very nice tastings, pleasant accommodation in the heart of a wine-growing estate. Meals at the restaurants were very copious. We were expected everywhere and made to feel very welcome.
