Day 1 - Behind the Scenes of the Vineyard
- At your arrival, early in the afternoon, you are expected at Domaine Pardon & Fils, located in Beaujeu, in the heart of the "historic capital of Beaujolais". You will be introduced to the cultural practices of the family estate and then you will taste the different wines of the property: Beaujolais in red, white and rosé, Beaujolais Villages in red and rosé
- At the end of the afternoon, you join your charming guest house, an old farm overlooking the vineyards
- At dinner time, enjoy an authentic and regional cuisine at the table d'hôtes of your accommodation - wine included
- Overnight in your guest house

Day 2 - Wine tasting on the Beaujolais road
- Breakfast
- You will go to the Domaine du Château de la Valette at the foot of the Mont Brouilly for a morning immersion at the property. On the program, visit the cellars and tasting the different cuvées of the house
- Lunch in a nearby restaurant offering original and creative cuisine made with fresh products - excluding drinks
- Afternoon free on the paths of the Beaujolais, to meet its rolling vineyards, its castles and medieval villages with golden stones

Wonderful discovery of the Beaujolais region...
We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect, from the Vinotrip organization, to the service providers, to the restaurants: it was faultless!
Vinotrip lets you discover a small part of the region, combining good food and good wine tasting (while learning more about wine-making methods).
First of all, Steeve passed on his passion for wine through tastings and explanations of the production process (the time was ideal to see the different stages after the harvest, as the grape harvest had just taken place), then we stayed at La Tour, accompanied by a more than copious and succulent meal... The next day, we discovered the wines of Château de la Valette and enjoyed a meal with an incredible view of the heights at Domaine de la Madonne (a restaurant that sold out weeks in advance!).
IN BRIEF, it was a real success, I'll be recommending this stay and I'll be sure to try others :-)

Beaujolais Stay
A great stay from 26 to 27/08/2024.
Great discovery of the Steeve Charlet estate and the Château de Bachelard.
As for the Chambre d'hôtes La Tour, it was perfect with a beautiful room and a good meal with Fédéric and Sylvie (the owners).
And to finish, a perfect lunch at the Odenas restaurant "le cote de Brouilly".

Instructive visit with enthusiasts from the Madone estate in Fleurie and the Steeve Charvet estate in Chiroubles. Very warm welcome at "La Tour" bed and breakfast in Chiroubles. Superb restaurant "Le côte de Brouilly" in Odenas. Nothing to say. Everything was perfect, even the weather!

A wonderful discovery of Beaujolais
Great stay in Beaujolais, ideal for discovering the region and immersing yourself in its history.
Visit to the Domaine de la Galette with passionate winemakers, a shame we only had a tasting without a tour. Lunch at the côte de Brouilly restaurant is perhaps the best part of the trip, as there are perhaps more typical dishes from the region (dishes you'd find in a bouchon lyonnais). The night at La Tour in Chirouble was great, the hosts are so kind and welcoming, we'd recommend them for a visit to the area! Finally, the next day we had a tasting and a visit to Steeve's domaine, a great experience to see how his wines are made, with a tasting accompanied by charcuterie, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Vinotrip's organization of the trip was very well done, we got a roadmap with addresses and meeting times, and we still had free time to discover the region outside the pack's activities. We'd do it again somewhere else!

A wonderful discovery of Beaujolais
Brouilly Wine Weekend".
Whether at the Steeve Charvet estate in Chiroubles or the Château de la Valette estate, we met passionate winemakers who are keen to share their region, their craft and their wines. The hosts of "La Tour" are charming and attentive to their guests' needs. Spacious, comfortable room, home-cooked meals and hearty breakfast. An address to be recommended!
We ended our "trip" with lunch at the restaurant "Le Côte de Brouilly", with its friendly welcome and home cooking, but without any real added value to the stay.

Winegrower's cellar
Our "chai du vigneron" stay was "tailor-made with an extra night". We had nothing to complain about in terms of Vinotrip's organization, but we were very disappointed with the restaurant "La Courtille de Solutré". It turned out to be nothing more than a classic meal, with the "gastronomic" formula consisting of adding cheese. All our dishes were far too salty (we pointed this out, as other diners were also talking about it at the next table), a cheese plate that it would have been classier not to present at all: a small piece of goat's cheese, an overdone Camembert, and a sticky Corsican cheese, not good at all. The waiter, wearing jeans and a T-shirt, was always on our backs. In short, we felt in a hurry, unfortunately, and were very disappointed by this service, which was in no way gastronomic. The owners of La Tour guest house in Chiroubles gave us a very warm welcome, with a large comfortable room, very good bedding, a generous meal, and a great time of sharing. Visit to Steeve Charvet's estate: he wasn't present, so we were welcomed by his parents. Interesting wine tour at Château de Pizay, a pleasant moment.

Very good stay in Beaujolais
A very warm welcome at Domaine Steeve Charvet: a very interesting visit and tasting with Steeve, a passionate and approachable winemaker. A great moment of exchange!
A very warm welcome too at La Tour B&B: Very good home cooking and lovely room. The hosts are extremely kind! A lovely corner of paradise... we recommend it 100%.
The next day, a great time at Château de la Valette. The winegrowers were very enthusiastic, and were able to share their passion with us in a very simple way.
Finally, we ended our stay at the restaurant "Le Cote de Brouilly". Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed with the meal.

Beaujolais Stay
Very happy with this Vinotrip. It enabled us to discover the beautiful Beaujolais wine region. Good tasting at M Charvet's, very good evening and night at Le Nid Beaujolais. Good food, good comfort and a very friendly welcome. The next day we discovered the Château de la Valette estate. Very nice welcome and good tasting with lots of explanations about their activity. The Cote de Brouilly restaurant was also very nice. Good memories for both of us!

Weekend with friends
Very happy with the visit to the Domaine des Chaises. Excellent welcome from the Charvet establishment where we had a great time with Dad. Too bad they didn't have the mâchon Beaujolais. We stayed with Sylvie and Fred, who gave us a warm welcome and introduced us to regional dishes. Weekend with friends to do again in another season to discover the beautiful colors of the vines.

Excellent stay
An unforgettable weekend with friends for my husband's 40th birthday. The welcome and tasting at the Steve Charvet estate went beyond our expectations. The hosts at Nid Beaujolais were perfect and the tasting at the Château de la Valette estate was also very pleasant.

Very nice stay
This stay lived up to our expectations. Mr Pardon made us feel very welcome to visit his winery and taste the various Beaujolais crus.
The visit combined explanations of his profession, techniques and the history of France (as he so aptly put it, the history of wine is inseparable from the history of France).
SOPHIE is a real enthusiast, and we appreciated her warm welcome, her simplicity and her authentic cuisine.
A quiet night's sleep in a beautifully decorated room of impeccable cleanliness, and a full breakfast with homemade jam.
A small downside, the bistronomic restaurant the next day (l'Ardoise in Belleville): a "lukewarm" welcome, but the meal was excellent.
In conclusion, a very positive assessment. We'll be back in the Beaujolais region, and we'll no doubt be spending the night at the "Nid Beaujolais" in the middle of the vineyards!
