"We had a wonderful, very informative weekend. At both wineries, we met passionate and fascinating winemakers. The meal at the Bouscassé winery was excellent: the wine and food pairings were extraordinary. The hotel in the heart of Pau is very well located for exploring the city. We sincerely thank the waitresses who served us at breakfast: they were very professional and attentive to everyone. We also met a really friendly group. We recommend this weekend getaway to everyone. "

"Overall, we really enjoyed this experience, even though the quality of the services varied quite a bit from one estate to another. Château de Saint-Aubin was our favorite: a very informative tour, with a dedicated guide to explain the wines and accompany us throughout the tasting, followed by an excellent lunch at the restaurant. Domaine Debray offered a more basic package. The welcome was warm, but the tour of the cellars was rather rushed, with little explanation of the winemaking process. On the other hand, the tasting was top-notch. As for Domaine d’Aloxe-Corton, the experience was limited to a tasting, with no cellar tour or special guidance. So we were left wanting a bit more. In the end, tasting a total of 18 wines (3 × 6 wines) was almost too much. By the end of the day, our taste buds were seriously starting to get overwhelmed!"
