Wine and cheese pairing at the Meyer-Krumb Estate

What could be more typically French than wine and cheese? Ditch your preconceptions about red wine and cheese: at their winery in Sigolsheim, the Meyer-Krum family will challenge your tastebuds with white Alsace wines and delicious local cheeses (daughter Aurélie is an expert on Munster and other hard cheeses).

After visiting the winery, step into the family's cosy, private wine cellar to experience the delights of their Grands Crus wines (Gewürztraminer, Riesling) paired with Kaysersberg Valley cheeses – a thrilling match that will surprise all, from novices to experienced palates.

Travellers' review - Meyer-Krumb Estate

  • Wine and Beer in Alsace

We really appreciated the organization and quality of the tours on offer. Great technical quality and impeccable commercial contact from the hosts. Very good visit to the PERLE brewery. Very good visit to the MEYER-KUMB winegrower-producer. We recommend this visit.

  • Superb Experience

I had the opportunity to spend a superb day on the wine route. Every visit was well organized. The Schwach estate was a real favorite. I would also like to underline vinotrip's responsiveness, as the Meyer Krumb estate was not available for the date of my stay, but the vinotrip team was able to replace this visit with a visit to another estate, the Louis Sipp estate. The Domaine Louis Sipp, which I highly recommend if you're visiting Ribeauvillé. All in all, a great experience, and I hope to be able to do more with vinotrip in the near future. Oh by the way, the trip included a stop at Flamme&Co for lunch, where I ate some superb Flammekueche, yum.
