Stay at Le Chambard

An 18th-century house at the entrance to the village of Kaysersberg, Le Chambard has been regarded since the 1930s as one of Alsace’s finest dining destinations, with an international reputation.

In 2001, the Nasti family took over the property. Shortly afterwards, chef Olivier Nasti, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, was awarded a Michelin star.

Alongside spacious, comfortable rooms overlooking either the village or the vineyards, the hotel features:
- a spa
- a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant
- a traditional Alsatian winstub
- a refined restaurant dedicated to tarte flambée / flammekueche

Travellers' review - Le Chambard Hotel

  • Excellent Stay!

I was pleasantly surprised by this magnificent region, with its magnificent landscapes and very welcoming inhabitants. Everything was perfectly managed, whether at the Domaine Bott-Geyl, the gîte La Demeure d'Antan or the restaurant Le Chambard: frankly, pleasant places and a perfect welcome. We'll be delighted to try Vinotrip again, in Alsace or elsewhere.

  • Perfect

Very pleasant stay. At Bott-Geyl, perfect welcome and tour, pleasant conversation during the tasting. Demeure d'antan bien, very good, copious and varied breakfast. Le Chambard" restaurant in Kaysersberg, top. Very warm welcome, excellent food, ideal atmosphere.

  • A wonderful romantic break

We had a lovely romantic stay and rediscovered Alsace, which we already knew a little about (we got married there). We rounded off our discovery of this beautiful region with a barefoot walk in the woods of Lac Blanc (Orbey), met some nice people at the "Demeure d'Antan" gîte, tasted some fine wines at Domaine Bott Geyl (a little too commercial a welcome) and got even better with a warm welcome at Domaine Stentz-Buecher. A simple but thoughtful meal for our small appetites at Le Chambard and a tour of Colmar, by boat with a pleasant guide, ... A visit we completed (at our own expense) with a tour of the old town on the little train. Thanks to Vinotrip for its organization, and thanks to my former colleagues for this wonderful "pre-retirement" gift.

  • Vinotrip Alsace

Short but excellent stay: the Humbrecht estate and its warm welcome, the Chambard in Kaysersberg, the B&B, the old town of Colmar, everything was perfect and well organized. Highly recommended!

  • Great stay in Alsace

Our stay went very well, Alsace really is a beautiful place. We were very well received at the chambre d'hôtes (Butterlin family). The room was equipped with a kitchen (practical when you have a baby) and a cot as requested. Breakfast was perfect and copious. The owner recommended a few restaurants in the area. She was lovely and I think we'll be back. The only disappointment was the first restaurant: le tire bouchon. Riquewihr is a very beautiful place, but very touristy. As a result, we were surrounded only by tourists in the winstub. We would have liked a more "typical" winstub, where we could get in touch with Alsatians. The food was decent. I'd like to make it clear that our disappointment wasn't with the food or the fact that it was a winstub, but more with the atmosphere of the place. We weren't in contact with the locals. We had lunch at Le Chambard on Saturday lunchtime and the meal was EXCEPTIONAL. We were afraid of being a bit uncomfortable (we arrived with baby and stroller) and in the end everything went very well. The food is divine, the staff very welcoming. We had a "surprise" menu and tasted dishes we would never have chosen from the à la carte menu (eel...). The little extra: the cart of mignardises at the end of the meal, with coffee! A great experience! Finally, the visit to the vineyards went very well. We met some great people at the 3 estates. We met passionate people who told us their story, the story of the Alsatian terroir. So our stay was very well organized (meal times and visits) and enabled us to discover a magnificent region!

  • A great stay - highly recommended

Everything was very well chosen: - the Hotel le Chambard is ideally located, with a warm and attentive welcome, original decor and two Michelin-starred restaurants. - the restaurants and menus selected by Vinotrip were charming and delicious. - The two cellar visits: great welcome and excellent products. A special reco for Bott Geyl We even swapped golf for an hour's massage at the spa. A dream come true! ! Many thanks - we had a great weekend thanks to you!
