About the Domaine Stentz-Buecher

Domaine Stentz-Buecher is a family-run wine estate in Wettolsheim, Alsace, born from the union of two long-established winemaking families. Founded in 1975 with just 4 hectares of vines, the estate now covers 13 hectares and is managed by several members of the family, each bringing their own expertise to the vineyard, winemaking, administration and commercial development.

Certified organic by Ecocert, the domaine is guided by a deep respect for nature, with minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the cellar. Its wines are known for their balance, freshness and delicate richness, reflecting the diversity of the Alsatian terroir.

Visitors are welcomed for guided tastings in the estate’s old-vintage cellar, where they can discover a varied range of wines, including an elegant, fruit-forward Pinot Noir with notes of blackcurrant.

  • Excellent weekend

  • Delighted with our stay

Stay offered by our children for our 50th wedding anniversary The accommodation at La demeure d'antan is very comfortable and tastefully furnished, and the breakfast is delicious and equally copious. Vinotrip customers are warmly welcomed, both in the wineries and in the activities. Special mention to Domaine Stentz Buecher, where we spent an excellent time tasting top-quality wines. Not forgetting the magnificent Alsace region, which is well worth extending your stay for its cuisine, wines, architecture and mountain scenery. We were able to hike and walk to discover a little more of this beautiful region.

  • VERY NICE STAY

A stay offered by my colleagues for my retirement. No false notes: whether during the reservation/finalization of the stay with VINOTRIP & then with the various participants on site. Chambre d'hôtes (Demeure d'antan) impeccable

  • Superb

Superb weekend: to start with Domaine Stentz / Buecher in Wettolsheim, very nice visit with clear explanations and a tasting of kings. Dinner at L'Agneau Blanc in Beblenheim, impeccable welcome, service and food. Overnight at Demeure d'Antan , 5-star welcome, service and cleanliness . The owner is very attentive. To sum up, to treat yourself or others, I can only recommend Vinotrip. 5 stars for all. Thanks to all .

  • The charm of Alsace awaits you.

When I retired, my colleagues offered me this tasting of Alsace wines in Riquewihr with Vinotrip, and we'll always remember it fondly. We arrived the day before and spent the day at the Spa "Resort Barrière" in Ribeauvillé.the view over the Vosges and the 3 pools heated to 34° are magnificent, with several sauna and hammam sessions (humm). We booked 2 massages (absolute relaxation). We spent 2 nights at the "demeure d'antan", aptly named. Its owner, whose life is full of surprises, takes particular care with the rooms, the dining room, the decoration and the breakfasts. He is passionate about Alsatian history and traditions. Many thanks again to Philippe. We had 2 organic wine tastings with very well commented visits , the wine library of the Stentz Buecher estate is just magnificent , but beware , the mistress of the house is generous on the wine tasting (you need to bring a SAM) . We also took a boat trip on the Lauch River, with the sailor's commentary on the old town and its history. Another wonderful discovery was the L'ARPEGE restaurant in Colmar, served in its romantic courtyard, just the thing for lovers (or not). Be sure to book well in advance. Don't forget your phone to take beautiful photos of Alsace, with its colorful houses and half-timbered structures, and its almost tree-like geraniums. Many thanks to the Vinotrip organization and team. Alsace is really worth the detour and I recommend this stay. We'll be back.

  • A wonderful romantic break

We had a lovely romantic stay and rediscovered Alsace, which we already knew a little about (we got married there). We rounded off our discovery of this beautiful region with a barefoot walk in the woods of Lac Blanc (Orbey), met some nice people at the "Demeure d'Antan" gîte, tasted some fine wines at Domaine Bott Geyl (a little too commercial a welcome) and got even better with a warm welcome at Domaine Stentz-Buecher. A simple but thoughtful meal for our small appetites at Le Chambard and a tour of Colmar, by boat with a pleasant guide, ... A visit we completed (at our own expense) with a tour of the old town on the little train. Thanks to Vinotrip for its organization, and thanks to my former colleagues for this wonderful "pre-retirement" gift.

  • Weekend in Alsace

Great organization, charming village and great encounters (a big thank you to Thibault at the Martin Schaetzel estate, a former sommelier, who passed on his passion to us). We loved the Stenz-Buecher tasting cellar and the hotel's gourmet restaurant. The only downside was the view from our hotel room...
