Prieuré Saint Agnan estate is a very quiet place in the historical center of Cosnes-cours-sur-Loire town. It used to be a former priory, really close to the abbey of Cosnes-cours-sur-Loire. This has been a family house since 1790.
Nowadays this former priory has five guestrooms. You could enjoy a pleasant moment or breakfast in the garden, very close to the Loire river. Every single room in this house is personalized with modernity and tradition. Take a break between Loire Valley and Berry regions!

A very successful weekend
We had an excellent stay in the Sancerrois region. The accommodation at the prieuré Saint Agnan is exceptional, the hosts are great and the setting is perfect. As far as the tours were concerned, the one at Domaine Eric LOUIS was very interesting, but I found the reputation of the wines to be overrated, except for the Cuvée Pauline. At Domaine HUBERT-BROCHARD, on the other hand, the tasting course was perfect and the wines well worth the detour. As for the restaurant suggestions, "Le chat" and "le coq hardi" were perfect.

Excellent stay
The two visits to the winegrowers were very enriching, with an excellent welcome. Prieuré Saint Agnan, a beautiful residence, with a friendly, attentive owner. Nothing to complain about for the dinner at Le Chat... Additional lunch at Léré, an excellent address to remember... Only downside: visit to the goat farm, we did not attend the milking as indicated on our description.....

Nice discovery
We had a very pleasant stay. At the Éric Louis estate, great welcome and good tasting. La chèvrerie, super. We slept at the Prieuré st Agnan, very good welcome, the house is magnificent and breakfast was top notch. And last but not least, Domaine Hubert Brochard, great welcome and tasting. A pleasure to do again.

The prieuré St Agnan is well worth a visit, very classy. The selected restaurants kept their promise and the cellar and goat farm visits were very well explained, with tastings on each occasion. A stay to be recommended without a shadow of a doubt.

Excellent stay
Excellent stay, very interesting and instructive visits for the uninitiated, not without a few humorous touches by passionate professionals, impressive equipment at LOUIS, Prieuré St-Agnan very pretty setting and spacious, comfortable gîte with a beautiful view of the Loire, very friendly owner. Super menu at LE CHAT restaurant small capacity but deserves to be praised even more. We were unable to evaluate LA GAIETE LEREENNE because our vehicle broke down and we had to leave it at the priory and take a cab home.

A stay for two
We had a great weekend! The Saint Agnan priory is a beautiful place, and the decor and garden were very pleasant. The in-room breakfast was excellent! We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the restaurant Le Chat! We rented a car for the weekend, and had a great time!

A Wonderful Stay
An excellent trip, very well organized by Vinotrip. We received a warm welcome at Domaine de La Croix du Verre, with a charming tour and tasting at the estate. The owners are so welcoming—it really felt like home (a place we won’t forget if we ever return to the region). Vinotrip did an excellent job organizing the trip, with high-quality restaurants and very interesting tours. A little unexpected bonus: we were able to attend the Harvest Festival on Sunday afternoon in Tain-l’Hermitage after a wonderful lunch on the terrace. The only slight downside: the choice of Michel Chabran’s Michelin-starred restaurant, which was a real disappointment due to the ultra-traditional nature of the meal—it wasn’t particularly exceptional compared to his brasserie in Tain, where we’d had dinner on Saturday night, which was far more surprising from a gastronomic standpoint. The sommelier at his Michelin-starred restaurant, however, was perfect and introduced us to a completely unknown but very good regional wine that paired perfectly with our meal... A trip we’d definitely take again without hesitation and highly recommend.

Good formula with some nice surprises
Stay as described. Good timing & choice of locations. Highly commendable for the Prieuré gîte. - Visit to the Eric Louis winery: very nice presentation with lots of details and full tasting. - Chèvrerie de la Tour: nice & informative. - Bistrot de la Côte des Monts Damnés: Good and to the point. A bit sad on Sunday evening as we were alone. - Overnight at the magnificent Prieuré Saint-Agnan: we slept superbly. Very good breakfast and welcome. On the banks of the Loire, ideal for a jog or walk. - Cave d'Henri Bourgeois: without a visit to the cellar, we were treated to a royal tasting! We extended our stay with a second night at Le Prieuré, a visit to the Maison des Sancerre (fun, informative and the store is full of treasures) and two other winemakers (Alphonse Mellot in Sancerre & Pierre Prieur in Verdigny) with two extra-ordinary tastings! A magnificent region full of riches to discover.

Magic
We had an excellent stay. The welcome at Prieuré Saint Agnan was perfect. A romantic and peaceful setting, a copious breakfast with a variety of quality home-made products. We met a number of wine enthusiasts during our visits and tastings, as well as on our walks. We discovered the Sancerre region and its landscapes, made magical by the snow and sunshine. We look forward to returning.

Great stay
We had a very pleasant stay: - The three châteaux on offer were different in range and location, and all three visits were very interesting. The guides were charming, knowledgeable and passionate. - The tastings were instructive. In short, we are much more knowledgeable about Bordeaux wines, and that was the goal. - As for the welcome and meals.... Superb. Alexia, our host at Clos du Prince was adorable and the meal at Le Savoie succulent. Truly, we recommend and will return in vinotrip.

Excellent stay
The stay was very pleasant and interesting. As mentioned in a previous comment, the program is not necessarily as described. As much as the first day was exactly as described, the second was not: we had lunch at the gourmet restaurant at noon, then tasted the wines of a domaine in the afternoon. But I suppose that depends on the availability of the various estates, which I can understand. Vinotrip beware of the time lapse between activities, we had two hours for lunch on Sunday before heading to the wine tasting venue, and it was only fair we should have had half an hour more. Both restaurants were excellent, the visit to the first estate extremely interesting, and we received a very warm welcome at the prieuré Saint-Agnan, which is a very beautiful place.

Very interesting
A very pleasant stay, but beware: the services don't quite live up to the description (we didn't visit Domaine Vacheron and therefore didn't taste any biodynamic wines). We received an excellent welcome from all the service providers, with a special mention for the hosts of the Prieuré Saint Agnan: a charming place that I highly recommend. The restaurant is also very friendly, with an original market menu and an exceptional wine list.
