The Domaine Fournier Longchamps, history and terroir

The Domaine Fournier Longchamps or FL born in 2007 under the leadership of Julien Fournier, is a family estate located in Rochefort sur Loire near Béhuard and 25 minutes from Angers.

The estate produces only organic wines and a wine whose vines are managed according to the precepts of biodynamics.The estate's vineyard covers nearly 34 hectares, on both sides of the Loire, on a land that welcomes vineyards since the 12th century.

Terroir on which Chenin Blanc, a historic grape variety in Anjou, is king! Its complexity and its great aptitude for aging have always given it a special status. It is from this single grape variety and with the same requirements that FL estate shapes the wines.

Wines from the Domaine FL

The organic wines of the FL estate are unique and reflect the prestigious terroir which borders the Loire. You will find sparkling wines, from Savennières, Savennières Roches aux Moines, Coteaux du Layon, Coteaux du Layon 1 er Cru Chaume and Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru, Anjou Blanc (dry white wine), Anjou Villages (red wine).

The Domaine FL offers you a 1h30 visit. You will have the opportunity to tour its cellar with a guide, to discover its facilities (winery, presses, vines) and to taste its wines. You can also picnic at the vineyard (pétanque grounds, green spaces).
