Story of the Château Soucherie

The Château Soucherie is above all a man’s conviction, Roger-François Béguinot, who invested to product great wines expressing the terroir.

Château Soucherie only owns 1,8 hectares of “Clos de Perrière” but today represents an archetype of wines from Savennières.

Since 2019, Vianney De Tastes has been developing the wines and overseeing all activities of the Domaine. By respecting the fruit and its typicality, he obtains wines that express all the authenticity of their terroirs.

    The Soucherie is a stunning castle—the estate and the wines were exceptional. We were made to feel very welcome; the room and the gorgeous bathroom were top-notch 👌. Breakfast was impeccable, and above all, everything was spotless! It was also beautifully decorated. We had a very pleasant stay.

  • A beautiful day

    During our stay in the Angers area, we were lucky enough to visit three magnificent wineries. At Domaine FL and La Closerie, we were deeply impressed by our hosts' passion for their profession and for wine. They introduced us to a fabulous, demanding and fascinating world. It was a real pleasure to talk to such dedicated and genuine people. We were also very well received at Domaine de la Soucherie by a charming, pleasant and very professional young woman, who knew her subject perfectly. Although we felt a little less fervor, the experience was still very pleasant. The three locations are all different, but each has its own charm and beauty. And let's not forget our lunch at Chez Mili, a very atypical place where we enjoyed classic but high-quality dishes that were truly delicious, with an equally warm welcome. A wonderful experience that we'd be delighted to recommend!

    For this stay, we chose the Domaine de la Soucherie, the room was very comfortable, the tour of the estate and the tasting very good with a beautiful view. In the evening, we dined at Le Chenin restaurant, a really excellent address with very good dishes, a great food and wine pairing and a very warm welcome.

  • Oenological Stay in the Loire Valley

    For this Christmas gift from our children, we went to the Domaine du Château Soucherie in Anjou and dined at the restaurant La Corniche. Château Soucherie is a superb, quiet estate, the room was very good, the welcome, the visit to the cellars, the explanations and the tasting perfect. The welcome and the meal at La Corniche were very good. This meal, excluding wine, is good value for money, and the choice of wines offered by the glass from the region is excellent. A superb night's sleep in the calm of Château Soucherie and a lovely, hearty breakfast with 1 bottle of Rosé from the estate as a gift. I'd recommend this choice to anyone who owns this boxed set.

    My parents came back enchanted from the "Accords Parfaits par Olivier Poussier" weekend. The service was of the highest quality, and the people involved (restaurant owners, winemakers, cab drivers) were all very attentive to our parents' needs. They were welcomed by people who were very attentive to their every need.... They were delighted with the Domaine de la Soucherie, and the three restaurants they sampled were of very high quality....The restaurant in Angers being exceptional. In conclusion, an exceptional stay with top-of-the-range services.
