About Domaine de la Grézille
Located in Ambillou-Château, in the village of Tuffalun, Domaine de la Grézille is a family-run wine estate set between the Loire and Layon rivers, in the heart of Anjou Blanc country. Vines have been grown here for centuries, particularly around the former Seigneurie de la Galopinière, reflecting the area’s long winegrowing history.
Since taking over the estate in 1996, Bruno and Anne Paillocher have worked to preserve its identity and the richness of its terroirs. Today, the vineyard covers 23 hectares and includes several emblematic Loire grape varieties, such as Chenin, Grolleau, Pineau d’Aunis, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The estate’s approach focuses on respecting the soils and biodiversity, with grass cover between the vines, careful soil work, preserved hedgerows and natural winemaking. This philosophy gives rise to authentic, expressive wines that reflect both the freshness of the Loire and the character of Anjou.

The wines of the estate
Domaine de la Grézille grows Grolleau, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin and Floréal. Visitors can taste red, rosé and white wines, sparkling wines and grape juice. Many cuvées are aged in oak barrels and made without added sulphites.

Vineyard trail & tasting
The “Sentier des Vignes” is a marked 3-kilometre educational trail through the vineyard. Along the way, visitors can learn more about the grape varieties, vine-growing techniques and local heritage. The walk is followed by a guided tasting of the estate’s wines and grape juice.
