About Champagne Comtesse Lafond
In the 19th century, the Comtesse Lafond helped build the reputation of the family’s wines and estates, mainly located in the Loire Valley and Burgundy, including Château Comtesse Lafond. Today, Baron de Ladoucette, the Comtesse’s grandson, pays tribute to her by giving her name to the prestige cuvées of his Champagne house.
Located in Épernay on the famous Avenue de Champagne, this elegant historic residence welcomes visitors for a timeless wine and heritage experience. Its four-hectare park offers beautiful views over the Côte des Blancs.

The champagnes
The house’s cuvées reflect the elegance and refinement of the property itself. Champagne Comtesse Lafond produces a wide range of champagnes, aged for three years in the cellar: Cuvée Brut, Extra-Brut with a lighter dosage, Brut Rosé and Cuvée Nectar, a demi-sec champagne.

Wine experiences in Épernay
After a visit to the park and the property, guests are welcomed for personalised tastings accompanied by gourmet bites. Salmon, foie gras on gingerbread toast or caviar toasts can be paired with some of the house’s finest cuvées. The property also welcomes guests for private lunches and dinners, cooking workshops and picnics in the estate park.
