Château de Couches, also known as the Château of Marguerite of Burgundy, is a remarkable medieval fortress located in Burgundy, in the Saône-et-Loire region.
Built as early as the 11th century, it occupied a strategic position along the historic routes linking Paris to southern Burgundy. Over the centuries, the château was enhanced with major architectural features, including its 15th-century Gothic chapel.

Guided or self-guided tours, followed by commented tastings, allow visitors to understand the influence of clay-rich soils and local winemaking expertise on each cuvée.
