Domaine Debray

1 Place Saint-Jacques, 21200 Beaune

  • History of the Debray Estate

Domaine Debray is a family-owned wine estate in the heart of Beaune, now run by Yvonnick Debray, who has worked in Burgundy wine sales for many years.

The vineyard is farmed using traditional methods with a view to producing high-quality wines.

Six years ago now, the vineyard switched to integrated farming, as a token of respect to Burgundy’s climats!

  • The Estate’s Wines

The Debray estate produces a range of appellations in the Côte de Beaune, the Côte de Nuits and the Côte Chalonnaise at once.

Here is an overview of the appellations you can taste when you visit: Saint-Aubin, Auxey-Duresses, Saint-Romain, Crémant de Bourgogne, Corton-Charlemagne, Clos de Vougeot... Several Premiers Crus and Grands Crus, both red and white, are available.

  • Estate Visits and Tastings

You will be warmly welcomed for a visit of Domaine Debray’s facilities, cellar and winery. Explanations are clear and adapted to each person’s level of knowledge; the visit is fun and enriching. You will round things off with a guided tasting of the estate’s wines for a global overview of the estate’s spirit and the care taken with the wines. You can top off your visit and tasting with a mâchon bourguignon: a typical local meal!

Debray Estate reviews

“Visit to the cellar at the Domaine Debray in Beaune with the cellar master. Very warm welcome. Complemented the first visit well. Our questions are getting more technical…”

“Finally, the tasting in Beaune at the Debray estate was very educational and we were able to appreciate some really good wines and especially two Grands Crus. But above all, we appreciated the welcome and the conversations we had with the different people we met who have such passion for their work in wine and for their region. We highly recommend this trip.”
