About Domaine Debray

Domaine Debray is a family-run wine estate located in the heart of Beaune, just a short walk from the famous Hospices de Beaune. Created in 2006 by Yvonnick Debray, a passionate wine merchant, it is one of the youngest estates in Burgundy.

The domaine owns 4 hectares of vines, spread across the Côte de Beaune. The vineyard is farmed with traditional methods and a strong focus on quality.

To offer a wider range of wines and appellations, Domaine Debray also works with carefully selected grapes from other respected Burgundy estates.

  • an enchanting stay

    At Olivier Leflaive: an interesting and humorous visit. A delicious meal with a wine tasting led by a knowledgeable and friendly oenologist. At Château Saint-Aubin: a very interesting tasting with a small, enthusiastic group. A dreamy room decorated with great taste. A fantastic breakfast prepared and served by a lovely lady. At Debray, we enjoyed a cellar tour and an informative, down-to-earth tasting. We can only congratulate Vinotrip on their choices and flawless organization.

  • Saint-Aubin - Vinotrip Weekend

    I treated my husband to a Vinotrip this weekend, and we had a fantastic time. The tours were top-notch: original and full of humor at Olivier Leflaive, a fascinating tour led by the passionate Oscar at Prosper Maufoux, and an informative one at Domaine Debray. The tastings were excellent. Lunch at Maison Leflaive and dinner at Restaurant Prosper were truly delicious. We stayed at the Domaine de Saint-Aubin in a charming, tastefully decorated room. Breakfast was delicious and served by a warm and wonderful lady. I highly recommend Vinotrip weekends, which allowed us to discover Burgundy and some truly exceptional places.

    We spent a very pleasant day with 3 visits to complementary wineries, each with a different way of doing things, and with people and professionals who love their work and their region, and know how to share it with you. Very good wine tastings on each visit, and a small charcuterie and cheese tasting at Château Prosper Maufoux to accompany. The order of the cellar visits is very well chosen: Maufoux-repas-debray-Corton. Restaurant 21 boulevard, magnificent setting in old cellars, and very good food. just allow 1/2 hour more between the Prosper Maufoux cellar visit and the Restaurant; the rest is perfect. the last cellar visit at Chateau Corton, an exceptional wine. All in all, an exceptional day with excellent tasting and discovery of the region. Thank you, I highly recommend

  • Beautiful discovery of Burgundy

    We really enjoyed the visit to the Domaine Leflaive winery, with commentary by Mr. Olivier Leflaive, a very friendly and dynamic man who knows how to present things in simple ways with a touch of humor. The tasting during lunch was fine, but we would have preferred to have had some advice on the wines before ordering the meal. The wine and food pairing would have been even better. The welcome at Château de St Aubin and the large, beautiful room were perfect. The tasting deserved more detail on the wines. The visual, olfactory and gustatory discoveries should have been commented on after everyone had had a chance to make up their own minds, to enable a better understanding, even if everyone has a different perception. The discovery of Domaine Yvonnick Debray by a passionate owner was very interesting. Beware of the prices of the wines, which were a little too high compared with the other 2 estates visited the day before, which were more renowned.

  • Superb discovery of Burgundy

    Superb trip to discover Burgundy and its wines. I loved the visit to the Leflaive estate, the explanation in the vineyards, the welcome at the restaurant, the lunch and commented wine tasting, the availability of the bike at the château de Saint-Aubin, the visit to the cellar and winery, and the wine tasting. The room at Château de Saint-Aubin was spacious, chic and quiet, with a view over the vines. We also made a wonderful discovery of the Yvonnick Debray estate, with passionate explanations from the young cellar master. The only downside was that the price of the wines from the latter estate was higher than those from the two previous, more renowned estates. Beware of the Burgundy effect on prices! I didn't take the cooperage workshop, but I do recommend a visit to the Hospices de Beaune.

  • Superb stay

    We had a great weekend in Beaune. The A la Beaune Heure restaurant is rather pleasant. Nice, typical meal! The hotel was also very pleasant, and the welcome super. The visit to Domaine Debray was the real highlight of our stay. We were very well received, and the explanations were very interesting. Let's not even mention the tasting: a REGAL.

    We had a wonderful stay, the organization was top notch, thank you Vinotrip! We were at Yvonnick Debray's in Beaune, where we had a great time. We were lucky enough to taste several little marvels! And his friendliness was a real treat. The hotel and restaurant were also perfect, nothing more to say! :)

    Very pleasant weekend in Beaune. We stayed at Maison Cabotte, enjoyed a Burgundian meal at the restaurant 'La Beaune Heure', which we recommend, and finally had an excellent time discovering the domaine Debray. We met a passionate owner and tasted some excellent wines. We recommend it!

    A superb stay, very well organized. A barrel workshop to discover, a visit to Domaine Debray and the quality of the wine tasting, a very nice room at Chateau de Saint Aubin at Domaine Maufroux, a superb dinner, a visit to the cellars with a passionate young woman, average wine tasting, and lunch with a tasting of wines from Maison Leflaive, a magnificent moment.     Stay from April 22 to 24, 2024 in Beaune. Lodging at Maison Cabotte in a very comfortable and cosy room. Nearly 2-hour visit and tasting at Domaine Debray, where we were very well received and thoroughly enjoyed the passionate young man. The wines we tasted were delicious. Meal at La Beaune Heure where we ate the Burgundian menu. Everything was perfect.

  • A GREAT EXPERIENCE

    A warm welcome at Domaine Debray with a quality tasting. Regarding the CABOTTE guest house, it should be pointed out that parking is available but at a charge. And it's a shame to have had the feeling of sharing the night with the neighbors, between snoring and coughing... Otherwise, it was very clean and the breakfast was of high quality.

  • Pleasant stay

    A very warm welcome at LA MARELLE, an old building renovated with great taste and comfort, with a great breakfast. A 6* rating, to Aline and Thomas who are truly exquisite. Fine evening meal at LA GREMELLE. A nice visit to Domaine DEBRAY, an organic estate which means slightly higher prices, lack of "village" appellation. All in all, a fine stay.

    A very good weekend, well organized and with very well-chosen activities. Arrived in Beaune and visited the Domaine Debray cellars with tasting: very interesting. We stayed at La Maison Rouge: an excellent choice, especially with the sun shining, as we were able to enjoy the superb swimming pool. The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was copious, with lots of homemade goodies. Dinner at La Gremelle was also a great success: plenty of choice for an "imposed" menu, and a very pleasant setting. Thank you Vinotrip!

    Excellent variety of activities. Maison Olivier LEFLAIVE: Very interesting visit to the vineyards. Visit to the cellar. Great availability of our various contacts. Good complement to the first visit. Our questions became more technical. .... Maison PROSPER MAUFOUX in SANTENAY. Excellent welcome. Discovery of the "Château" cellars (15th century). Tasting of 8 high quality wines (4 whites, 4 reds). The rooms are magnificent. Great breakfast. The hostess is divine. Dinner at Restaurant "Le Terroir" (located on the same square) Excellent table. Discovery of the cooperage. Extremely warm welcome. Lots of availability. The visit lasted nearly 3 hours. Great professionalism from Frédéric GILLET. We even "made" our own barrel. An exceptional morning. Visit to Château de CORTON ANDRE in ALOXE CORTON. Magnificent château. Good (unaccompanied) tour of the cellars. Excellent tasting. Super tour. Great discovery of BOURGOGNE.     Today, the vineyard is farmed organically, with great respect for the balance of the soils and the identity of each terroir. The aim is to intervene as little as possible, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, so that each wine can fully express its origin.
    Domaine Debray offers a beautiful introduction to Burgundy through wines from both the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. Depending on the vintage, visitors may discover appellations such as Saint-Aubin, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, Corton-Charlemagne and Clos de Vougeot. Several Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines, in both red and white, showcase the richness and diversity of Burgundy’s great terroirs.

  • Visits and tastings at the estate

    Just a few steps from the Hospices de Beaune, Domaine Debray welcomes visitors in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for a tour of the estate’s facilities, cellar and vat room. The explanations are clear, accessible and adapted to each guest’s level of wine knowledge.
    The visit continues with a guided tasting of the family estate’s wines, offering a broad insight into its philosophy, its respect for terroir and the care given to each cuvée. Guests may also choose to complete the experience with a traditional mâchon bourguignon, a typical local meal from Burgundy.
