The wines of Domaine Boyer-Martenot

The estate currently covers ten hectares of vines located in the villages of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses and Pommard. Between 1997 and 2007, several plots were acquired in the Meursault “Les Tillets”, Meursault Premier Cru “Les Perrières” and Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru “Le Cailleret” appellations.

Although the estate does not claim organic certification, it follows traditional methods, including soil cultivation, yield control, green harvesting and carefully managed treatments. The wines are aged in oak barrels, one-third of which are new, for twelve months. Domaine Boyer-Martenot produces wines known for their balance, concentration and aromatic purity — quite simply, great Meursault wines.

  • History of Domaine Boyer-Martenot

After the Second World War, André Boyer took over the family estate, which had been run by his mother, Lucie. In 1976, Yves continued the family tradition and married Marie-Cécile Martenot, the daughter of a winegrower from Meursault. Today, their son Vincent devotes himself entirely to the estate.
