In 1857 Jules Sénard, ancestor of Count Philippe Sénard, created the original vineyard "Corton Clos des Meix". Over the years, this estate located in the village of Aloxe-Corton, in Burgundy, between the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits has remained family-owned, only the name has changed to become the Domaine du Comte Sénard.
Since 2000, Lorraine, the daughter of Philippe Senard and the great-granddaughter of Jules Sénard, has taken over the management of the estate. It is inspired by previous generations to keep the spirit of Corton wines: deep color, aromas of red fruits, tannic and powerful.
Comte Senard Estate invites you to its guest tables to discover the wines of Corton’s hill during a lunch followed by a wine tasting with Emilie and Mickaël, two wine waiters of the domain.
