History of Château du Taillan
Henri Cruse bought the seventeenth century “Château du Taillan” in 1896. The property has been transmitted from generation to generation until now: the 5 Cruse sisters are nowadays the owners.
Its classical style makes this property one of the most beautiful in Gironde, with unique underground cellar listed on the Historical Momuments of France

Château du Taillan's wines
The 30-hectare vineyard produces a Cru Bourgeois. It is also one of the few estates in Medoc to make an excellent white-wine 100% sauvignon “La Dame Blanche”.

Wine activities at the Castle
The Cruses decided to push forward wine tourism in the Medoc region. Among the activities at the property, one can choose a wine warehouses tour, a cellar tour as well as wine-tasting sessions and oenological workshops.
